Last weekend we were able to continue the birthday fun, this time at Mimi and Poppy's house. When Deeds turned 5 we took her to the Statue of Liberty, so Abs had been counting down the days until she could take her very own birthday trip there too. Little did we know that Poppy had never been there! (I told him that he waited to get the Senior discount!) We all had a lot of fun. The Lord blessed us with an unbelievably beautiful day. We always enjoy being with Mimi and Poppy and we are thankful that we were able to spend this fun weekend with them.
